A PRCA Rodeo is the culmination of the fastest cowgirls and the toughest cowboys in the professional sport of rodeo, who put their skills to the test in rodeo’s six standard events plus the women’s barrel race. From the colorful opening ceremonies and the grand entry, through the timed events, contract acts and rough stock rides, rodeo is pure entertainment

Fiesta Del Charro Rodeo

Fiesta Del Charro is a classic Mexican style rodeo competition complete with traditional Charros. Fast paced rodeo action paired with authentic Hispanic Flare makes for an event like no other. The show features Bull Riding, Trick Roping, Dancing Horses, and Escaramusa. Traditional bronc riding, American style Bullfighting, Portuguese bull fighting and live mariachi bands join together to bring the flavor of Mexico to the sport of rodeo. The Fiesta Del Charro is a show announced in both English and Spanish with live Mexican Music

Mutton Bustin' will be held during the Kern County Fair Rodeos on Friday, September 29 at 7:15 PM, Saturday, September 30 at 7:15 PM, and Sunday, October 1 at 6:45 PM.

Entry fee: $10.00 per child.
Open to ages of 4 - 7 and weighs 60 pounds or less.
Must upload proof of health insurance and a birth certificate to enter. Entries submitted with any missing forms will not be considered valid.

Each entry will receive 1 adult ticket and one child’s ticket to the rodeo. This entry DOES NOT include fair admission. Each child may have one helper in the arena. Please bring a helmet with you.

Please report to the rodeo office in the back East corner of the arena at least 30 minutes prior (6:45 PM for 7:15 PM contest and 6:15 PM for 6:45 PM contest). Each child will receive a prize after they ride.

THIS EVENT WILL BE AT THE START OF EACH PERFORMANCE. WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE IF YOU SHOW UP LATE.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY ENTRY FOR ANY REASON.
