Donate 6 (or more) non-expired canned food items and get one FREE admission into the Fair Tuesday, September 23!

The Kern County Fair is partnering with the Community Action Partnership of Kern Food Bank (CAPK Food Bank) to bring awareness to the issue of food insecurity throughout Kern County, with its Feed the Need Canned Food Drive.

CAPK Food Bank Volunteers will be on hand to accept your canned food donations at all 3 entrances to the Kern County Fair on Tuesday, September 23, 2025

Through Feed the Need we have gave back 700,000+ lbs of food since 2012.

Feed the Need offers a great opportunity to treat the family to an exceptional entertainment value, while helping to provide a nutritional lifeline for those struggling with hunger in our community.
