We have awesome Ag teachers in Kern County!

We have awesome Ag teachers in Kern County! Congratulations to Julie Beechinor, of Frontier High School who was recently selected to represent California and receive the Honorary American FFA Degree at this year's National FFA Convention in Louisville, Ky., this October. Julie was selected by the California State FFA Executive Committee for her "outstanding personal commitment to Ag Education and the FFA". Julie is the second KHSD teacher to receive this recognition in recent years, after Clay Freeman from Foothill High School. In addition to managing the successful Ag Department at Frontier, Julie also has served as the president of the San Joaquin Region CATA (California Ag Teachers Association) and has taught workshops and clinics statewide.

Congratulations Julie!
