Singers, dancers, bands and other entertainers are welcome to audition Wednesday, May 20, for the Kern County Fair. Dates for this year’s Fair are September 23 thru October 4.

Auditions for community talent will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Building #2 at the Kern County Fairgrounds, 1142 South P Street. Performers should enter through the Main Gate entrance on P Street.

All acts that have not previously performed at the Fair must audition. The performers selected for the Kern County Fair will not be paid.

A sound system will be available for recorded music only. The auditions will take place on a 16-by-16-foot stage and a microphone and speakers will be available for use by entertainers.

Time slots for performing at the fair are liimited, so bring your best to the audition!
